I’m a physical educator from Pacoima California, currently teaching in Napa Valley. I teach kindergarten through 8th grade physical education, where I incorporate mindfulness into our everyday exercises & cool downs. I am now focusing on going into corporate or professional hospitality settings, so that I can teach this information to your staff. We focus on proper breath work, visualization techniques, guided meditation and more.
I am looking forward to teaching your staff, community, students or family members how guided meditation works, what is means to be mindful, and show you how to breathe properly with the intention of being present and grounded.
I started teaching Mindfulness when my son was in my Kindergarten 10 years ago.

Being mindful is nothing new, but it’s new to the minds that never knew what being mindful meant! Being Mindful means being aware of your thoughts, emotions, along with how you’re feeling both physically and mentally.
Mindfulness is a form of meditation and one important aspect of it is acceptance. Mindful means being aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment. To be Mindful is a clinically proven to helps you to reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

BE WINEFUL
To be Wineful is to admire the color of the wine and recognize it. Next, you’ll swirl the wine in a circular motion in order to create a constant flow to your glass of wine & praise it’s effervescence. Follow that up with a whiff of the wine by taking in a deep breath in through your nose as you make your belly inflate for 3 seconds. Then, exhale out as if you’re blowing out a candle at a distance for 6 seconds to experience a full range of breath. After all this, sip the wine, swisher it as if you’re using mouth wash & then savor all the flavors the wine has to offer. #BeWineful! #WINEFULNESS

Winefulness / Mindfulness
Turn on some classical music or music with no words like water or wind sounds for 5 to 30 minutes. <Experience & music will vary>
Sit or lay down depending on how long you can handle being mindful in that position for. Now try going to your happy place, a place wherever you want that excites you or a safe positive place in your mind that can either be made up, a movie, an actual place you’ve visited or a book you’ve read.
Breathe in through your nose for 3 seconds, and out through your mouth for 6 seconds. <REPEAT> As you breathe in through your nose, try to focus on your stomach inflating like a balloon and when you breathe out through your mouth, pretend like you are going to blow out candle that is 5 feet away from you. <REPEAT>
Next recite “I Am” affirmations as you take each intake of breath and out take of breath. ( I AM AFFIRMATIONS can be recited mentally & quietly ) e.g. ”Breathe in” I Am great, “breathe out” I Am happy, cont.… change affirmation every time if possible. <REPEAT>
Let your mind float away and practice stillness, practice on calming the mind, the body, and let the mental relaxation take place and make sure your eyes are closed in order to really tap into your imagination. Next, see how you can control what happens when you are there, locate things you want to see, choose to hear or witness and then write them down on a journal or somewhere where you can go back to it in case you see a pattern occurring after the mindful journey.
Lastly answer these 3 questions to your best ability or memory! (1.) Where did you go? (2.) What did you see? (3.) How do you feel? Write it down, draw it out or tell someone, this will allow you to reflect and see of their are any patterns in where you go or what you see.

Simple breathing techniques, such as what this cartoon says, can bring relaxation to one’s mind and this is one way of being wineful. As a result your blood pressure will drop & so will your heart rate due to this simple technique called “breath control.” Now by adding “I Am” affirmations along with each intake of breath and outtake of breath, this is going to help you by building up your self esteem, empower your confidence and positively compliment yourself on a daily basis.
The “I Am” Affirmation & “Imagination Station”
” I Am” affirmations are positive words that we say to ourselves while breathing and focusing on calming ones breath. Eg: I am happy, I am great, I am peaceful, I am strong, I am unique and so on. The adjectives may change, but the meaning remains the same, so speak positive to yourself is the moral of the “I Am” affirmations. A great way to use your imagination is to reflect back on when you were a kid playing cars or dolls & imagine how simple & innocent that was. Now you can help change your mindset by writing positive statements, called affirmations. I like to call them ” I Am” affirmations on paper or recite it daily & see how happier you become as a result of it.
I am affirmations fill us with endless love. Love thyself!
A Wineful experience that not only contributes to skill set, but offers a salvation from the day to-day stress that can lead to significant losses in productivity and performance. Yes you read it here; mindful wine tasting can be a component of your well-being program. Sommeliers and wine critics alike have been practicing and sharing the art of mindfulness since their very first tasting. Taking the opportunity to incorporate all of the senses encouraging presence through singular focus and immersing yourself in the moment are not only components of wine tasting, but also key hallmarks of mindfulness.
The 5 S’s
See, Swirl, Sniff, Sip, & Savor
There are five basic steps in tasting wine: distinguish the color, swirl, smell, taste, and savor. These are also known as “The 5 S’s” see, swirl, sniff, sip, savor. During this process, a taster must look for clarity, varietal character, integration, expressiveness, complexity, and connectedness. Mindfulness is an activity that can be practiced anywhere, it is cost efficient and translates into happier, focused, and more balanced productive individuals. This program is designed to help release the day to day stress that can inhibit a team from being productive, and perform at higher levels.
